DIY Body Wash

I have terrible skin. I have allergies and I’m getting older, so I’ve recently quit using chemicals on my face! I was getting these horrible breakouts to the point where I hated leaving my home because someone would see me . Obviously, I was using something that was not agreeing with me, so I quit. I started using the ART skin care line with Young living, and their Shampoo and conditioner and have NEVER looked back!

So in my quest to find more “chemical free” options for my skin, I decided I was going to make my own body wash. Using Castille soap {Baby} and Almond Oil for added moisture and some essential oils for scent!

This time I chose Lemon and Lavender because I love the smell of them diffused together. More lemon than lavendar, I find lavender a little strong for me.

This recipe makes about a cup and a half of wash and a dime sized amount is all you need, this is going to last quite a while 🙂

So far im enjoying it emensly, it also work awesometastic as shampoo on my kids, and only needing a small amount is great since my daughters hair is 2ft long!

1 cup Castille soap

1/2 cup distilled water

1~1/2 Tbsp Sweet Almond Oil

20 to 30 drops Pure essential oils

{Keep in mind if using citrus oils to store in a glass container as some oils erode plastic and certain metals}

Add ingredients to a glass jar and mix well.
